The Canterbury Branch Transportation Group invites all members to come to a social event at the Pegasus Arms. Get acquainted with your fellow TG members over some drinks and snacks, provided by the Transportation Group!
We will kick off with a brief industry update from Jeanine Foster, the Waka Kotahi Local Road Programme Lead for the Road to Zero Speed and Infrastructure Programme.
Jeanine leads the national Road to Zero local road partnership programme; co-designing, evidencing and investing in safe system road infrastructure and speed management. She is immersed in multi-agency government response strategy to reduce the unacceptable rate of death and serious injuries on our roads. She’ll outline the challenges and milestones of this important work, to get your conversations started, with plenty of time for networking.
