Kathryn King, Walking & Cycling & Safety Manager at Auckland Transport (AT) will present on the ambitious 10 year Cycling Programme. AT’s walking and cycling programme sits as part of a wider investment in walking and cycling approved in the RLTP to be delivered by the Transport Agency, Local Boards, Council and AT.
At $880m this is the largest ever investment in walking and cycling in New Zealand and has the potential to transform the way people move around Auckland. Providing high quality infrastructure will encourage and enable more people to travel by bike for everyday reasons.
