Transportation Group are pleased to present this event to showcase local speakers’ conference presentations to our local Canterbury branch members, who may not have been able to attend the recent May conference held in Tauranga. The conference theme was ‘Caring for the People’.
We’re fortunate to have several local speakers to pick from, including some award winners – so another local speaker event is planned for late June to show off more presentations!

• ‘Partnerships creating healthier communities’ presented by Minn Brodie (Christchurch City Council)
• ‘Defining Urban Amenity- Bringing a people-centric approach to transport design in the central city’ presented by Megan Walker (Boffa Miskell)
• ‘Aotearoa urban street planning and design guide’ presented by Olivia Johnstone (Boffa Miskell)
• ‘Christchurch Transport Plan – What’s next for implementation’ presented by Karishma Kumar (Waka Kotahi)
